I earned my bachelor degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater and am licensed to teach Pre-K through 6th grade.
I believe in establishing a safe and warm environment where students can come to the classroom and be excited to learn. It is important that I get to know each student, so I can teach in a way to fit all needs.
I use creativity and positive reinforcement daily to help create the best learning environment for all children.
I want the students to fall in love with learning and understand that hard work allows for success and growth as they continue their education.
Reading and writing are passions of mine, and we will have tons of fun incorporating both throughout the year!
Teaching at a Catholic school enables me to share my love of teaching with students while instilling a love for God and the Catholic faith. We get to engage in prayer, celebrate weekly Mass, and prepare for sacraments. St. Joe's is a wonderful small community of staff, parents, and students!
I enjoy distance running and have completed 1 full and 7 half marathons. I also enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
