To make Disciples of all people by fostering a relationship with Christ through the Sacraments, formation, and fellowship.

Pastoral Ministries

Bereavement

The Bereavement ministry addresses the needs of those who have suffered a loss.  There are a team of bereavement ministers who assist at the funeral and can help get useful information and resources to those in need.  They also assist in coordinating the Annual Mass of Remembrance.

Funeral Luncheon

The Funeral Luncheon ministry provides a funeral luncheon reception for the family and relatives of a deceased person whose service is held at St. Joseph's.

Blessed is She

This group is new to St Joseph's and will be meeting at 7pm the 2nd Wednesday of each month during the school year.  Open to all Catholic women seeking a closer relationship to Jesus and a sisterhood of support in our community of faith.  Evenings consist of a bible passage, devotional, small group discussion and opportunity for Eucharistic Adoration and Praise & Worship time.  For more information, contact the Parish Office.

Human Concerns

The Human Concerns ministry aids our parish in fulfilling the social justice dimension of Scripture and our Church tradition.  Members are called to identify the needs for social justice in the parish and wider community, responding by developing the resources and programs to address these needs through direct service, education and social actions.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

RCIA

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the Church's way of guiding adults who have begun their journey of faith to complete initiation in the Catholic Church.

The process is for adults who…

  • have never been baptized
  • were baptized in another Christian church and now wish to come into full communion with the Catholic Church
  • were baptized in the Catholic Church but were not raised in the faith and are seeking to receive the sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation.

This process takes place within the community of our parish. It is a gradual process in which parishioners join with candidates for the sacraments in sharing scripture, building community, celebrating liturgy, and serving the needs of others. For further information you may fill out the contact form below, send us a message or call the parish office at 262-662-2832.
