Art

The students at St. Joe's meet in Art Class once every two weeks for about an hour.  During their bi-monthly Art Classes, students learn about famous artists, learn new techniques, skills, and art concepts. Lessons include areas of art such as drawing, painting, ceramics, mixed media, and weaving.  Student artwork and creations are proudly and prominently displayed in and around the school.  We encourage parents to vist, taking in the all the wonderful works of art by our young aspiring artists! 

While not attending Art Class, students may also work on art projects within their classrooms, which are incorporated into their daily curriculum.  We also offer special art events, such as Family Art Night, where families in the school and parish get together and make a spring craft as a family.
