Welcome to our classroom website.
This year we are going to become "Bucket Fillers" We fill each others' buckets by using kind words, showing respect, helping each other, sharing, and other good deeds. Ask your child how he or she was a bucket filler today!
January is a very busy time at St. Joseph School. As we prepare for Catholic School's Week, we have our science fair projects well underway. The final projects are due on Friday, January 27th. They will be on display for the weekend and our Open House which is on Sunday, January 29th. Be sure to stop in and take a look!
I'm very impressed with the list of rules that the 5th graders came up with. They are as follows:
Respect Adults, Students, and Property
Be Ready! Books, Homework, and Supplies
No fighting, pushing, shoving, touching
Contribute to a quiet environment
Include others
Be honest
Just a reminder that we have gym class on Monday and Wednesday. Students are required to have gym clothes and shoes to participate.
Also, library is on Mondays. Please help your child remember to return books on Mondays! Thanks!
Our States and Capitals Test is scheduled for March 1, 2012. Please be sure to study a few each week so that you are ready!
