Reading/language: long vowels (CVCe pattern), nouns, using a capital letter (months, days, holidays)

Math: addition facts (plus 1, plus 0, minus 1, doubles), writing number sentences,
counting dimes and pennies, telling time to the hour, odd and even numbers,
counting by 2s and 10s
Social Studies: 5 geography themes, working together in groups
Science: Our bodies grow and change, healthy choices
Religion: Advent and Christmas
Mass schedule for 1st grade: October 14th, December 16th, March 20 (breakfast mass), June 1st
Daily homework: math worksheet side B, practice spelling words, practice story of the week
