Ski Club- Our December 15th outing has been cancelled due to "spring-like" weather. (Alpine Valley Resort is closed!) St. Joseph School offers a ski club at Alpine Valley Ski Resort. Students (day school or CFM) in grades 3-8 are invited to join the ski club; students in K-2 may attend with a parent (for safety reasons).
Members must purchase a club card for $ 10.00. This club card includes 1 free lesson and an evaluation by Alpine Valley's certified Ski Patrol. As a club, we are able to get discounted rates for rentals and lift tickets. The rentals (ski or snowboard) are $ 14.00. The lift ticket is also $ 14.00. The club card also allows students to ski at the club rate on Sunday-Friday throughout the winter (holiday exclusions apply!). In the past, our club has gone to Alpine Valley for 6 Friday nights (ski from 3:30pm til close). We will likely hold ski club on Fridays once again this year. We will begin Ski Club on Friday, December 8th. Future dates include Dec. 15, Jan. 5, 12, 19, and 26th. We may add extra outings weather permitting!
