What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS exists to meet the needs of all mothers of preschoolers from all walks of life who share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy to kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs. The St. Joe's MOPS group began 10 years ago when some women of the parish felt a need for a support group for mothers of pre-schoolers. The first organized MOPS meeting at St. Joe's took place in September of 1999.
