Fun Fest is the annual parish festival held in August. The parish festival is always held on the second full weekend in August. This year’s Fun Fest is August 13, 14 and 15. The goal of Fun Fest is to provide an environment for children "of all ages" to have fun and meet new people and acquaintances at the parish. The event, which requires a lot of help from dozens of volunteers, offers a variety of opportunities from donating food and supplies, to chairing a specific activity at Fun Fest. Specifically, the festival needs carpenters, electricians, booth set-up and take-down, vegetable peelers, cooks, bakers, food servers and dish washers. To help prepare for the event, the festival needs telephone callers, typists, copy makers and booth chairpersons.
