Get Involved

We have numerous ways for you to get involved:

SCRIP

SCRIP Order Form

www.shopwithscrip.com

How Does SCRIP Work?

Forget about traditional fundraisers that involve selling or spending extra money. With SCRIP fundraising, families can easily earn for St. Joe’s school and parish while they shop. Simply use SCRIP gift cards for everyday purchases, and St. Joe’s will earn a rebate on each one at no additional cost to you.

What do I use SCRIP for?

Use it to shop at the places you already spend your money. You can use SCRIP to purchase everyday items like groceries, gasoline, clothing, toiletries, toys, gifts and other essentials.  It is just like cash. The only difference is, St. Joe’s earns a rebate from the vendor when you purchase it.

How does SCRIP help St. Joe’s?

An organization of 150 families easily spends between $1-2 million per year on food, clothing and other essentials. Through SCRIP, that can raise as much as $40-80,000 per year for the school and parish, without families spending an additional penny.

For your Convenience

Some vendors allow you to print the gift certificate yourself, and have it to use immediately or give as a gift! Must be registered for PrestoPay

Some vendors allow you to have funds added to your previously purchased gift card.  Orders placed by 3:30 pm Eastern time will be loaded overnight.

If you need help registering on www.shopwithscrip.com or if you have any questions, email the St. Joe's Scrip Team

Home and School Association

Home and School is a committee of enthusiastic and committed family members of St. Joe’s students. We meet the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 to plan events, organize fundraisers and brainstorm new ways to positively impact the St. Joseph School Community. We also work as an advisory committee along with the School Advisory President to provide input to the Principal. If that sounds like something you would like to be part of, contact Kari Simcakowski or just join us for one of our meetings!

The 2018-2019 Board members are...

President                    Kari Simcakowski

Vice President            Dorian Dobrzynski

Secretary                    Stacy Abraham

Treasurer                    Carleen Baum

Get involved!  It's fun and a great way to meet other school parents.  If you want to help with an event or fundraiser, please contact one of us.  THANK YOU in advance!

School Advisory Committee

Our St. Joseph Parish School Advisory Committee is dedicated to assisting our school administration, faculty and parents in providing an exceptional education, based on Christian values and high academic standards, to all of our students. Serving as an advisory committee to our school Principal, we work together as a team to achieve the hallmark of academic excellence and faith filled traditions that St. Joseph Catholic School is well known for.

All parents and parishioners are welcome to attend any and all School Committee meetings. If you would like to be included on the School Committee's Agenda, please contact a board member prior to the meeting.  Please let us know your topic of interest, any additional facts regarding this subject, and any proactive solution you may have, so that we can allocate the time you deserve to discuss your thoughts. The St. Joseph Parish School Committee meets the first Tuesday evening of each month, during the academic year, at 6:00PM at St. Joseph School.
